“Navigation becomes visual” through Visual Tabbed Browsing
By generating an image of the web site, the so called preview, you start surfing visually.
In order to navigate to an already visited website, you do not have to insert the URL
in the navigation bar of the Internet Explorer anymore, but you can now simply click
on an automatically generated picture (image).
This preview, sometimes called thumbnail or snapshot, enables you to find the relevant
web site very fast. The preview is always refreshed when the web site is visited again.
Thus you can always see very clearly in the chosen overview which content you could
access to by clicking on the snapshot
As mentioned before, you have different formats of picture view at hand. Both the favourites,
the links as well as the history are displayed as an overview of previews throughout 4c.
Therefore the IE is an image browser in that way, as you navigate by means of previews now.
As a matter of course a picture administration is integrated, so that you are enabled
to delete previews or alternate the size of the previews.
